Horny goat weed is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb. It is also known by its many botanical names, including Epimedium, and its Chinese name, yin yang huo. It was discovered quite accidentally by goat herders who noticed that their goats became sexually aroused after eating the weed.
Horny goat weed is a supplement used to treat conditions from hay fever, to atherosclerosis, nerve pain fatigue, osteoporosis, and to stimulate male and female hormones to improve sexual function.
